Description

William Penn Charter School, an all gender, pre-K-12, independent, day school is the fifth-oldest school in America and the oldest Quaker school in the world. Guided by Quaker values such as mutual respect, equality, and community we strive to educate students to live lives that make a difference. The Athletics program is seen as an integral part of the educational program and athletic teams strive to provide quality instruction to student-athletes and to develop the core values that stem from our beliefs and practices as a Quaker institution.

Part of the Inter-Academic League and home to the oldest schoolboy rivalry in the country, the Penn Charter Quakers have won countless championships and many graduates go on to play their sport in college, and some professionally. Skilled teachers and coaches help our students understand – whether on the playing field or in the classroom – how to collaborate and compete, how to win with grace, and how to handle challenges and setbacks.
